The Federal Government has cancelled the SHCP $8000 rebate as of midnight 9th June 2009. This has been replaced with the new solar credits scheme which is effective immediately. Please contact us for more information.
Installation Milestone
Nickel Renewable Energy has now completed 100 grid-connect solar installs since commencing installations in November 2008. We have successfully installed 120 kW of solar, producing over 166,000 kWh (166 MWh) of clean renewable energy every year. This will reduce 178 tonnes of greenhouse gas emmissions per year, equivalent to removing 227 cars from the road or planting 9200 trees. We thank all of our customers for helping us to reach this milestone.

Feed-In Tariff for NSW
NSW Rees Government proposes much awaited feed-in tariff for NSW - Significantly higher price paid for the energy generated from your grid connected solar power system.
Installations of systems for the Lismore Climate Care Solar Rollout are progressing well. Customers will be called around a week before to schedule their installation dates. We are installing 2 houses per day, weather permitting. See some of the photos in our gallery 'Nickel Photo Gallery'
